By accessing this website and purchasing services from Resumes That Win (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Resumes That Win provides professional resume writing, resume reviews, LinkedIn optimization, and related career services. 

 

  1. Services Provided

We offer professional writing and career branding services including but not limited to:

  • Resume writing and editing
  • Resume reviews
  • LinkedIn profile optimization
  • Career consultations
  • Cover letter writing


All services are provided remotely.

 

  1. No Employment Guarantee

Resumes That Win provides professional writing and career support services.

We do not guarantee job interviews, job offers, employment, salary increases, or specific career outcomes. Hiring decisions are made solely by employers.

 

  1. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Submit requested materials in a timely manner
  • Review drafts promptly
  • Communicate revision requests clearly


We are not responsible for inaccuracies provided by the client.

 

  1. Payment Terms

Full payment (or agreed deposit) is required before work begins.

Prices are listed on the website or provided in writing.

Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced unless otherwise stated.

Failure to complete payment may result in suspension of services.

 

  1. Refund Policy

Due to the customized and intellectual nature of resume writing services, all sales are final once work has commenced.

If a client cancels before work has begun, a refund may be issued at the discretion of Resumes That Win, minus any administrative or processing fees.

No refunds will be issued after final documents have been delivered. 

 

  1. Revisions Policy

Each package includes a defined number of revisions (as outlined at purchase).

Revisions must:

  • Be requested within 7 days of delivery
  • Be based on original submitted information


Additional revisions beyond the package scope may require an additional fee.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

Upon final payment:

  • The client owns the final resume and related documents.
  • Resumes That Win retains the right to use generalized, anonymized samples for portfolio or marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
  • All templates, processes, and proprietary methods remain the property of Resumes That Win.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

 Resumes That Win shall not be liable for:

  • Job market conditions
  • Employer decisions
  • Client misuse of documents
  • Indirect or consequential damages

 

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services.

 

  1. Confidentiality

We respect client confidentiality and will not share personal information except as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

 

  1. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website and services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
